Christian Community Placement Center
Serving Salem County
"Christian Community Placement Center is proud to participate in the annual Sleep Country Pajama Bowl! We provide residential treatment for at-risk foster youth ages 9-18. Oftentimes, CCPC offers placement for youth who have exhausted the system and have nowhere else to go! Our kids are placed in nurturing family-environments, where they receive individualized therapeutic and educational support. We partner with specialists in every field to obtain the greatest-quality care. Last year we used proceeds from the Bowl to provide summer enrichment activities, purchase sports and camping equipment, and sponsor camping trips for our youth. This year, donations will continue to be used to help kids have a fun-filled, action packed, age- appropriate summer! Thanks, Sleep Country and all who have made this possible!"
Bridge the Gap
Serving Clark County
"Once a child is removed from their parent(s) home, life is not the same. They did not ask for the abuse or neglect they endured. Bridge the Gap seeks to “give every child a childhood.” Donations from the Pajama Bowl allows Bridge the Gap to provide enrichment activities, by funding support for music, arts, athletics, extracurricular activities, graduation, tutoring, etc. These experiences and skills “even the playing field” for foster children in Clark County, and change their lives. We thank you for helping us to achieve this goal."
Foster Family Care Network
Serving Portland and Mid-Willamette Valley
"The Foster Family Care Network is honored to benefit from the Sleep Country Pajama Bowl, and we look forward to the opportunity to gift our special needs children and youth, and the families who care for them, through the funds received! In support of our families, we will use the proceeds to offer informative, ongoing trainings to our foster parents, camp and lesson scholarships for our children and youth, and to purchase items that will enhance the lives of those in our programs. Thank you, Sleep Country, and all those who step up to their call to help kids in need!"
Kinship House
Serving Portland Metro and SW Washington
"Kinship House is a local nonprofit, who for over 15 years has provided services to children and families in foster and adoptive systems. In 2011, we served over 315 children and their families as they took the journey to permanency in stable, loving homes with their biological, familial or adoptive parents. Kinship House helps families through providing out-patient individual and family mental health therapy, education, and advocacy. Our unique services – both educating the community and helping families directly – aids in the transition of children out of the state system. Without a network of services, children often experience long separation from a permanent family, possibly even staying in foster care until they are legal adults. Located in two home-like, welcoming facilities in inner Northeast Portland, Kinship House enables children traumatized by neglect and abuse to move forward with their lives, with hope and help. The Kinship House approach honors the unique heritage and needs of each child and family as they take their journey to permanency. Community support allows Kinship House to change the course of one child's life at a time. "

Compass Health Therapeutic Foster Care
Serving Snohomish County
"Summer camp is such an important experience for any child to have. The funds that we receive from Pajama Bowl go towards providing a summer camp experience for foster children with mental health and behavioral issues. Due to these issues, attending a regular camp is nearly impossible for many of our kids. We provide group camping experiences full of games, sports, and field trips to some of Western Washington’s attractions. Thanks to everyone’s funding we’ve been able to visit the Ducks, EMP, go rock climbing, and hiking, all while being closely monitored by trained staff that are able to help them through the experiences."

Olive Crest
Serving Washington State
"A life transformed. Six year old Michael came to Olive Crest after suffering from abuse and neglect. Michael told his new Olive Crest family that he was very excited about Christmas as it was his first year with a tree and gifts. Michael stated that last year he got a bag of trash for Christmas because, in his prior home, “Bad kids got trash.” His foster parents have reported that Michael is very sweet and he is adjusting well. They said that they adore Michael and that he was the missing puzzle piece they have been waiting for in their lives. Michael says he feels lucky for being able to live with them. Your funds help Olive Crest to provide homes to children, ongoing therapy, training, and support services to ensure the best possible outcomes. The ages and stages of our children may be different, but they all desire the same thing: to have a loving, patient and committed family that cares deeply about them and can provide for their unique needs. "
