Pajama Bowl History

History of the Event

Over $476,000 Raised for Local Foster Children

In 2005, Sleep Country USA set out on a mission to improve the lives of the nearly 20,000 foster children living in the Northwest. The company launched five year-round foster kids charity drives and began hosting its annual Pajama Bowl fundraiser, an event designed as a fun way for families to lend a helping hand to local foster kids in need. In addition to supporting essential services and resources, the funds raised by generous Pajama Bowl participants will go towards providing foster children with the kinds of special experiences that they might otherwise miss out on – whether it’s music lessons, team sports, or even reuniting with a sibling at summer camp.

Pajama Bowl has been a standout in the philanthropic landscape since 2006, raising an impressive $40,000 and gathering over 300 participants in its debut year alone. Now entering its sixth year, Pajama Bowl has expanded into four locations in Washington and Oregon and has raised over $476,000 for local foster children.

We truly appreciate the continued support from all our bowlers and sponsors, without whom our success would not be possible.
